Temper with minced garlic. Add two heaped teaspoons of Cajun seasoning and a about a pound of cleaned, deveined and tail on shrimps. Stir continuously for a minute. Add salt and ground pepper. Add chopped plum tomatoes and scallions and stir. Now add three cups of semi-cooked rice, mix well with the ingredients and pour in ¼ cup of water. Cook for three to four minutes. Dinner Meals- Turkey Meat Loaf
Here comes a healthy meal that may take time but not effort. This is also an awesome way of enjoying oats which is never welcomed by kids. Start with preheating the oven at 350 degrees F. In a mixing bowl, whisk together ¾ cup of quick cooking oats with ½ cup of skimmed milk. Slice 1/4th of a large onion and chop the remaining. Take a large bowl and put 2 lbs of ground turkey breast, oat-milk mixture, chopped onion, chopped red bell pepper, 2 beaten eggs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and freshly ground black pepper. Mix evenly. Prepare a glass or ceramic 9×13 inches meat loaf dish by greasing it with butter or cooking spray. Transfer the mixture to it. Sprinkle sliced onion on the top. Bake for an hour. After removing from oven, let it rest for 15 minutes. Slice it and serve with cheesy dip and soup of your choice. It will be nice change from usual dinner meals.
Dinner Meals – Cheesy Gnocchi Casserole
In an ovenproof skillet, melt a tablespoon of unsalted butter over medium heat. Add one chopped onion and cook until soft. Stir in a 8-ounce piece of diced deli ham with thyme and cook till meat is browned. Pour in ½ cup of chicken broth. When it starts boiling, add a packet of potato gnocchi. Stir well and cover cook till tender. Removing from heat, add peas, ¼ cup of heavy cream, salt and pepper. Sprinkle some shredded cheese over it and keep in a preheated broiler for about three minutes.
